We run various screens each week to identify potential stocks to purchase.  We screen for stocks with the very best fundamentals, such as high earnings growth, high sales growth, high liquidity, etc.  We focus on stocks that went public in the past 3 years, although we also select stocks that went public more than 3 years ago.  After we screen for fundamentals, we look at the charts and identify which stocks are setting up in price consolidations.  We prefer stocks that had a big uptrend before forming their current consolidation.  Then, we identify precise buy points where we will purchase the stock.  We like to purchase half a position at first and then buy the other half if the stock proves itself and advances 2% above our initial purchase.
