Types of Information We Collect
We collect a limited amount of information about our subscribers to enable the fulfillment of subscriptions to our Services. We may obtain the following information from subscribers:
1. Registration and Subscription Data. The only individually identifiable information that we collect about you is that which you are asked to provide when you register for either a free trial or a paid subscription to our Services. This information may include your name, mailing address, e-mail address, and, in the case of a paid subscription, billing information. We use registration and subscription information to maintain records about your use of our Services and for billing purposes. This information is never shared with any third parties, unless specifically stated otherwise.
2. Site Usage Data. We collect non-identifiable information to measure how our subscribers use our web site. This information may include statistics about the numbers and timing of unique visits to our web site(s), repeat visits, and which pages are viewed. We view this information to analyze trends, administer the site, track user’s movement, and gather broad information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.
You can access and update your personal information at any time by going to the My Account section of our web site.
Each time a subscriber logs into our web site, a temporary ‘cookie’ is stored in the browser files of that subscriber’s computer. This cookie is used during the online session to allow you access to our Services, without repeatedly requiring you to re-enter your user name and password. When you log off from our site and terminate your browser session, the cookie file is automatically removed from your computer.
In order to provide visitors with greater value, some of our pages may provide links to various third party websites. Subscriber information or ‘cookies’ are in no case provided to the third party sites. However, keep in mind that many sites do attempt to capture visitor information when you browse their sites. Once you leave our site, we cannot alert you if another site attempts to gather information from your browser.
We use a variety of security measures including encryption and authentication to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of your personal information under our control.
Subscriber and Site Visitor Surveys
From time-to-time we may conduct surveys, although these surveys are optional and do not require your participation. This research is compiled and analyzed only on an aggregated (group) basis. We do this to better understand our users’ needs and improve their overall experience when using our Services. Your personal information and responses will remain strictly confidential, even if a third party conducts the survey.
